I have painted and drawn for as long as I can remember. As a child, I used art to escape and understand a world that simultaneously intimidated, mystified and fascinated me.

My oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastels, pencil, pen & ink and mixed media works are in collections in Vancouver, London, Toronto, Ottawa, New York City, Baltimore, Philadelphia, San Diego and France.

Art is my not-too-successful organization of an internal chaos. It is the way I document my private realities and fictions; the place where I describe incidentals in their minutiae and hope that their significance is revealed serendipitously. My dreams give image and voice to what I find incomprehensible and confusing: the tyranny of happenstance.

I sell my art both through galleries and directly from my studio. In addition to the art displayed in my portfolio, I accept thematic commissions.
